Tony Bennett, who returned to the top of the pops last year with Duets II, a collection of collaborations with artists including Willie Nelson, Michael Buble and the late Amy Winehouse, joins Michael Bolton and Seal on the list of performers in April to help christen the theatre.

More A-list acts and details of a new Vegas-style stage spectacular bound for the state-of-the-art, 2000-plus seat theatre will be announced in coming weeks.
